Books by Allen Russell

American Cowboy Author

My Pard, Eb Morris, with "The Circle Buck". A great hunt on a cold snowy day in Eastern Montana. This was a few years ago, before our beards turned white. Remember the chapter titled "The Christmas Antelope" in my first book?  Hmm!

Teresa and I with Peggy Ables, Executive Director of the High Plains Western Heritage Center in Spearfish, SD. That saddle over Teresa's shoulder was made by our good friend Jerry Croft of Deadwood.

Me and Woody Woodruff. Cowboy poet and a good friend.

Me and Rick Hines, Western Singer and member of the Illegitimate Sons of the Pioneers.

Steve and Wanda Turner. Steve is the owner of WNKX Kix96 FM Radio. Steve has been a great friend and supporter of me and my books.

Me and Ken Overcast in Chinook, MT. Ken is an author, song writer, singer, radio host, Cowboy, and a good friend from the moment I shook his hand. Look for Ken on "Lonesome Trails N' Cowboy Tales"

I'm with Dayton Hyde in Hot Springs, SD. Dayton is an author, rancher, historian, and founder of the Wild Horse Sanctuary.

This is me listening to one of the best bull slingers in the west, Owen Badgett, Devil's Dancing Grounds, MT. Owen is an author, poet, Cowboy and a good friend. This, my friends, is a real Cowboy. Look at that face, think he'd tell you a windy?

My good friend J.J. Croft, Deadwood, SD. Custom saddle maker, artist, Cowboy. Been there, done that, got 'em rode, one of a kind.

Bolt and Eb, circa 1876. Lonesome Wind, MT. Shooting a commercial for Lonesome Trails TV.

Me and Tony Ramer in Custer, SD. Tony is a fantastic sculptor and artist. He made the necklace that I'm wearing and that great hand-carved Elk Horn Knife that I wear with my gunbelt on Lonesome Trails TV.

My good friend, Dave Potts, Forsyth, MT. Rancher, guide, outfitter, and don't let the hat fool you, pardner. This man can cowboy with the best of 'em.

Me and Dana Kerns, Double Rafter Ranch, Ranchester, WY. A good guy and a real Cowboy. See the acknowledgements in "Revenge at Eagle's Nest". I've spent some great times driving cattle and camping out in the Bighorns with the crew at the Double Rafter.

My honey, Mrs. Russell on Dave Potts' Ranch, MT. I'm a lucky man.

Me and my honey at the Number 10 Saloon, Deadwood SD. Filming for "Lonesome Trails N' Cowboy Tales" Teresa was dressed as a saloon girl and the tourists got so thick, I nearly had to go to the pickup to get my Colt.

Linda Seaward and my saddle partner Jerry Gibbs. We use Jerry's spread for shooting some of Lonesome Trails TV. If you picture the character Jerry from the Lonesome Wind Series. He should look a lot like this.
